Over the last few years, we’ve had some demonstrably untrue statements become ‘fact’ through repetition in the media and by politicians.

So, what are the next ones going to be as we hit reality post – Brexit?

I’m going for blaming France and Germany for unfairly ensuring that whatever terms we sign up to go do business with the EU are not as good as we ‘should’ have expected.

I’m also reckoning that an influx of immigrants getting I have no useful contribution to make will be to blame for pretty much anything that can be pinned on them. (assuming of course that we don’t sign up to Schengen in order to get on the EFTA ;-))

“its what the people voted for” – they voted for a myth and promise that could never be delivered on

Definitely right about it all being France and Germany’s fault – damn foreigners just won’t play fair.
Any job losses/economy tanking would have happened anyway and we can’t prove otherwise.

That’s all well and good if you’re a toff who did rowing at school, but it makes no sense to the working class men on the railways, travelling at breakneck speed on handcarts, rescuing maidens tied to the tracks and narrowly escaping getting hit by locomotives.

I think we need someone with those kind of skills to get us out of this mess!

I’m almost looking forward to Chilcott just to get away from the Referendum threads.

I remember when all this were fields bikes
