Looking to replace my Singletrack II jacket which has been pretty good for a year or so, but its not recovering its waterproofness despite washing/treating etc with Nikwax. Its also got a few holes from where I’ve been testing the dampness of the mud..

So, looking for a new jacket – not too worried about budget as long as its going to handle a few ground/body interfaces – ideally reinforced elbow areas..

Only other thing is it must have vent zips..

    Any suggestions?

Isn’t the singletrack 2 much cop then? (ignoring the damage)

Its ok – maybe I’ve been washing it wrong (although I did email Endura for their guidance) but it does wet out very quickly now, despite being washed with TechWash and then using the other proofer from Nikwax afterwards…

If I can’t find a decent alternative with more arm protection then I’ll certainly get another one, just checking out the options first. 🙂

Ah ok. If you’re going to crash test it why not get a cheap singletrack 1 as they’re on sale everywhere?
