If you’re not bothered about people recognising what you’ve got there are plenty of smaller brands to look at.

Steinhart make some nice watches. Some are similar to Rolex while others are more individual.

They’re proper mechanical watches to. None of this newfangled quartz nonsense.

thanks to all for their suggestions, but after much consideration, and almost clicking the buy button for a black on black monster, I’ve gone with my first choice, albeit with a different bezel (black instead of blue and red). Black on black monster will be next though, so cheers!
