Before the site went down last year, a lot of people recommended a good book about cognitive behaviour therapy. Any idea what it might have been, or is there a way of searching the archives now?

    Cheers.

Are you, ahem, ‘Giving’ or ‘Recieving’ the CBT?

2 of my mates are proper CBT therapists: i could get some recommendations?

It fixed me in 2 weeks after 30 years of depression, but his pally style is not to everyone’s taste 🙁

Thanks, I’m just looking for some reading to challenge some of my existing way of thinking. Sometimes dwell on the down sides of life too much.

If its an OCD type thing, you could try:

The OCD Workbook (Hyman & Pedrick)
Understanding Obsessions and Compulsions (Dr Frank Tallis)
Overcoming Obsesive Compulsive Disorder (Veale & Wilson)

    All pretty good for CBT
