Bit of a hypothetical question and I’ll probably do neither but you never know. If you had £300 burning a hole in your pocket, what would do, if anything?

1. New set of wheels, Hoop Hoops with Crests to replace old but still going strong Hope XC with Mavic 717’s (old wheels would go on the other half’s bike)

2. Upgrade to 10s, currently have 9s XT thats theres nothing wrong with.

3. Save for a rainy day, ie. when I stack it and break something!

So IMO the OP should buy the new Hope wheels on Crests, then go ride them, pringle them, and put his old wheels back on once that’s done…
