I’ve got a load of old IT books, lots of them over 10 years old from when I was at uni. What’s the best way to get rid of them? Most are in great condition – almost as if they were never opened 😉 . Charity shop; library? Too good for the tip surely?

over 10 years old may well be just too outdated – unless they’re stock textbooks (and even they get new editions).

I tried with some books I bought about 8-9 years ago – tried on eBay for some of them, stock books were OK but postage was quite spendy.. In the end the ones I couldn’t offload (but thought were useful) I took to local college.

Recycling if they’re obsolete (and anything 10 years old probably is).

I put all my old chemistry ones on Amazon market place. Sold all of them.
