    Hope the OP doesn’t now calculate the depreciation on his oil 😉

    In October we paid 55ppl for a 1000l, just filled up now and it’s 36ppl for 1000l.

    What about the water in the hot water cylinder and in the pipes? if its past the meter then you’ve paid good money for that! 😉

    Last house I sold, I left the new owners a bottle of wine and an opener.
    However, if I’d had a tank of oil I’d have syphoned it out into the house, torched it and claimed insurance. Nobody gets free oil, it doesn’t go to waste, no selling fees to lawyers or estate agents. Win win

    Obviously not.

    Mainly because you only have about 70 quids worth of oil in the tank, and buying another 430 quids worth at this stage would be daft.
