    Moving house and got one in the loft. I have no use for it anymore – I dont want any money for it. Do charity shops still like these type of things? Or is it to old even for a charity shop!? In which case does it just go down the tip?

    CEX still sell them so I imagine they would give you something for it, even if it is just store credit.

    Failing that I would have it for my kids if you are local.

    Your local Gamestation (other retailers are available) will probably give you a token amount of cash / credit for it.

    No inlaws with kids you could donate it to or anything?

    I know yorkhill in Glasgow have a nintendo wii for example.

    I gave mine to the School Wraparound Care place.
    I kept the GTA series of games though, & a few others, but the kids love playing old games & watching DVD’s on it.

    I second giving them to a hospital children’s / adolescent ward, I gave my old Xbox and it was well received and at least it’s going to be well used.
