The 2.35 Nevegals are often considered “big for their size” because they actually are 2.35… This is outlandish of course. Fab tyre, the stick-e is fairly slow but it sticks like spunk in the bath. My front tyre of choice, it can take on anything and it’s decently tough too.
Eskar 2.3 is about 2.25 at its widest point so not big for its claimed size or as big as the OP wants but still, absolutely fantastic rear tyre.
But obviously someone should mention Rubber Queens… Accurately sized but tall too for huge, huge volume. Fairly heavy. Fast for their size but not very grippy for their size really, poor edge grip but good in a straight line. Decent tyres all round. A bit crap in deep mud.
