  • What tile adhesive for ceramic floor tiles on existing floor tiles?

I need to tile a floor. Am leaving the existing ceramic tiles in place and want to ceramic tile over the top.

The guides I’ve read say use an appropriate adhesive but I’m struggling to find one.

40m2 across two rooms. Light grey tiles and grout. Existing tiles are on a concrete sub-base.

    Cheers. Leku.

Any good quality cement (not premixed adhesive) should do the job, Mapei and Bal are the best IMO.

I used wickes own brand rapid set flexible floor adhesive worked a treat mixing it myself was the hardest part.

I rang BAL technical and they were really helpful.

The answer is (if anyone else is searching):
    BAL Supercover Rapid Flex
with Admix AD1 diluted to 1:3
