    I’d go for a St Georges Cross with the Welsh Red Dragon super imposed on the centre. Like the red hand of Ulster flag but without the sectarianism – we can leave that behind.

    No, I doubt it.

    And similarly, I doubt we would either.

    Besides, I don’t think it’s going to happen.

    NO a flag pre-dates union[When James VI /I inherited the Irish and English titles] but not the flag currently used , they are very similar though.

    I never knew that there was a flag pre Union days so no thaving a dig and thanks for the info
