    80mm or 100mm?

Currently running on-one rigid carbons but felt more than a little beaten up the other weekend after a ride in the dales. Rather envious of the the full sussers everyone else had.

Recently converted my Reba's to 100mm from 80mm of travel on the front of my 29er Inbred, and what a difference it has made!

Previously I felt the handling was a touch twitchy if anything, now it just feels spot on. Still quick handling, but now with the stability 29ers are famous for.

I will add though that I run my forks (whatever the travel) setup to use all the travel on the biggest hits. I do just about bottom my Reba's out on the biggest hits.

mboy, that's good to know, as I though 80mm would be the preferred option.

my grips have to get permission to enter airspace on my 80mm RSTs i'd hate an extra 20mm

run rigid as much as possible to keep the front end low.

get rebas and you can try both by using the spacer.
