I need some new wheels for my Cannondale Prophet for general trail riding. I ride mainly in the peaks with trips elsewhere (Lakes etc) so quite rocky stuff. I'd like to lose a bit of weight from my current DT 5.1 rims and also go tubeless. I don't change tyres very often and am very happy with my current Advantage 2.25 F&R. The options I'm looking at are:
Stans Crest: Nice and wide, and very light. Are they going to be strong / robust enough?
Stans Arch: Apparently very stiff and tough, pretty light, but a bit narrower than my current 5.1s and the Crests.
Stans Flow: Only a little lighter than the 5.1s, but even wider. Obviously a nice strong rim.
What are people's thoughts?
