    Does anyone know what size (diameter) seat post I need for a 2002 (I think) Trek 4100?

    I’ve eventually borrowed a calliper and measured the inside diameter of the seat tube (I managed to lose the original seat post so can’t use that / get the size from it 🙁 ) and it appears to be 28mm. Does anyone know where I can get a 28mm post or am I better off getting a 27.2mm and a shim?
