  • What size Rocket Ron for front, and Racing Ralph for rear – tubeless EVO.

I’m about to buy a combination of these tyres in EVO TL versions.

The Ron will be on the front and the Ralph on the rear.
But I’m not sure what size (width) to buy the Ralph in for the rear, or the Ron in for front.
Both will be tubeless on a hardtail if it makes any difference.

    What are your thoughts?

Mainly for racing, or summer riding over cannock chase.

Slackman99 – thanks for the reply, but I’m after 27.5″.

I’m running 2.25 nn evo front and rear. Seems a pretty nice balance between grip, weight etc

Yep the 2.25s are barely any heavier, but seem to have a lot more grip.

I’m using 2.25f 2.1r although that’s mainly for added clearance in the rear than anything else.

I’d go for 2.25 if you have room, or 2.1 for a little bit more speed. I’m running 2.25 Ralphs and 2.1 Rons.
