Hi,
First post and I’m after some help as per the title!
I’m 6’4″ and really unsure if i would be better off with a 20″ or 22″ five. I currently run a surly instigator in a 20″ with a lot of post and a 61cm allez road bike, again with a lot of post.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I’m a bit taller than you at 6’5″ and ride a 20″ (don’t think there was a 22″ when I bought mine). It seemed small when I first started riding it but got used to it and now really like the short reach, makes it more chuckable etc. Stem is 90mm and don’t use a layback post. If I was going to ride a lot more XC rather than singletrack and light freeride, I’d probably go 22″.

goto your local orange dealer and book a demo bike….if it costs it’ll be refunded when ya purchase..if your inside leg is over 32-33 inches then i reckon a 22″

Thanks for the advice, I have just managed to get a go on 20″ this morning and it felt pretty good but perhaps a tiny bit short,but i suppose a layback post would sort that…………
Inside leg is about 33″ and i cant seem to find anywhere with a 22″ demo!!!!
