I don’t mean to argue (as I have said, I dont have the knowledge to be able to do that) but that seems like quite a significant risk.

And what about spyware? Someone “watching” your computer and being able to “see” what your pass code is for that on-line wallet ?

It’s the wild west out there in bitcoin land and that’s a good thing if you want to make money long term. (I’m want to buy a couple of K and forget about them for 20years) But it means you have to be double careful not to get burned.
