I’m looking for some light weight shin pads to reduce the occurrence of flat pedal shin rake for my better half. they need to be comfy and light enough for pedalling but they’re not likely to get used in anger as it were.

I saw these on crc youth shin padsyouyouth shin pads and thought they might be the right sort of thing – I’m guessing youth sizing might be the right idea as she’d be on the small/extra small side for adult i would think but frankly i’ve no clue.

Has any one got any suggestions at all?

When I switched to spiky pedals I just bought some footy ones from the sports shop in town. Maybe I’m not gnar enough but I was rarely getting bashed so didn’t wear them for long.

I got some neoprene bmx ones and took the hard shell out.

Had thought about football ones maybe a good idea, box ones probably a good place to look too ta
