  • What semi-slick with a mix of road of light off road?

I'd tried quite a few and reached the conclusion that I'd like something not too heavy or draggy with reasonably durabilty. I'm currently running Panaracer Razors but they do seem to wear quickly on tramac. I'm intrigued by Schalbe's new Sammy Slick or the WTB Vulpine but have no experience of either. Any suggestions?

WTB Vulpine, my choice (rear) for the HONC for the last two years.

Schwalbe Smart Sams or Kenda SB8s for me. SB8s wear quickly on the road though 🙁

Maxxis Wormdrive did the trick for me when I was unable to ride "properly" off-road last year. Good for dry bridleway / fireroad and no issues on the tarmac. Oh and cheap!

+1 for the worm drives, may have a spare set soon can let you know if you're interested?

Bontrager XR1, ridden them to work on road and a bit off road, seem a pretty good compromise.
