  • what reinforcing mesh for my garage floor slab?

    I’m currently shuffling dirt and rubble around in an attempt to prep for a raft slab for my garage base.

    What mesh should I use for the base (approx 28 square meters) and should I use a different mesh around the thicker raft edges that will support the single skin walls?

    A193 in 4.8×2.4 sheets all over, min full square lap, then double it up at the edges to go “belt and braces” with a 300 strip in the bottom as well as the sheets all over.
