    not that i can afford it.have a charge duster steel bike (love it 🙂 but would like to one day fit aforementioned hub to it (would be perfect for winter).thanks in advance 🙂

    The hub itself is about £1000. That was from a quick Google you may be able to find it cheaper, then £40 say for a rim and another £30 for spokes.

    On thevother hand On One were selling 8 speed Alfine hubs with fitting kit for less than £200 last month….

    I asked this question in Head for the Hills in Dorking – they were reckoning £1200ish for the Rohloff, £700ish for an Alfine 11.
