Love a set of Vaults but where for £60?
Would it be worth waiting for the Nano’s? Do we think they will be back in stock at the end of the month?

Nanos can also be had from carbon cycles

I refuse to spend more on a component I’m going to smash into lots of rocks.

I’ve just bought a pair of new V12s. They were £35 from Cycle Surgery. Plenty of grip and nice low profile, can’t fault them.

Just got a set of RSP FTWs and very impressed so far- not the biggest platform so if you’ve got shovels for feet they’re probably not ideal but I prefer them to my nanos and my vaults (they’ll replace the vaults on #1 bike). Long term, who knows though.

Is there any reason not to grab a pair of V12’s? I realise everyone has different tastes but I am running V8s on my fs,is there much difference?

Specialized Bennies are £60 and very nice pedals indeed.

£25 so you get to spend the other 35 quid on cakes, beer, dolly mixtures or whatever else you fancy.

Where do these arbitrary budgets come from, why £60 and not £45 or £53?

    Two sets of Nukeproof Electrons?

Figured I best give a top figure or be faced with Burgtec/Spank/Raceface etc at £100+

Bookmarked. I’m trying out flats with some free V8’s but finding them a bit small. What about Shimano Zees?

    I’d just get a pair of these…

Shimano Saint are good too though, often available for £35.

new V12s are thinner and have a bigger platform than old ones/your V8s. if you’re happy with your V8s, then for £35 you won’t beat new V12s. they’re bang on.

Cheers for all of your input, I am going to go for a set of V12s and get a set of Electrons for my son, that way we get to try both, thanks again. 🙂

Forget anything that doesn’t have through-pins.

Unless you are much more technically gifted / much less clumsy than me.

Got NukeProof Electrons last year, great pedals, had to bin them after 3 weeks because there were no pins left and all the holes were trashed.

Got some Superstar Nano Thru-Pins which are still going after 5 or 6 seasons.

Have just treated myself to some Hopes, which have been awesome so far (and are kind-of through-pin).
