    My Shimano spd pedals finally gave up last night after 6 years. my shoes are looking very tatty to, so what do I replace both with?
    Stick with the trusty Shimano spds, or go for something else? and what shoes?
    Any bargains out there at the moment?

    Stay with Shimano I'd say. XTR if flush, cheap if sensible.

    Think Ribble have SPD pedals going fairly cheap (XT ones anyway).
