  • What mid priced Cycling Sunnies?

My long loved Smith optic glasses went missing in the Lake’s back in June and I need to replace them.

Most mid price (40-80?) specs look horrific – any suggestions?

I’d really like multiple lenses, not tried photo-chromatic ones but they may be ok?

I like my Norhwave ones. they do a variety of styles:

I really like the Tifose (spelling) stuff, they seem to fit well and the optic quality is pretty good, not Oakley standard but more than good enough and less than half the price.

I now use bolle safety glasses- £7 from tool shops-same spec as £40 biking glasses and a reasonable choice of styles

Tifosi – for that cash you can get three lens systems no problem, they vary in fit (wide / narrow face) and trying them on is worth the effort if you can.

Power race at PX – muliple lenses, photochromic etc.
Worth a punt at the price – £30 quid I think I paid for some.
More importantly they don’t give me a headache like other makes have and if they get damaged it’s not going to cost loads to replace.

Note, I do not wear pimpy ones. Although I have got some red lens/white frames ones 8)
