So g-shock wearers, what on earth is the difference between the G2900f-1v and the G2900-1a.

I am tempted to get one due to the tales of indestructibility.

1970s Bulova Accutron tuning fork watch. It was the first electronic watch but uses a tuning fork instead of quartz crystal. And it’s cool because it was my dad’s.

I don’t find the Sub comfortable when riding TBH. Recent experience seems to prove that wearing a cheaper watch is a good idea; I seem to be a frequent visitor to A&E!

Ti Animal one an ex bought me about 6 years ago that’s chunky, reasonably light and properly wwaterproof.

Or when not doing any sport or going to get soaked at work, a Nixon with a big leather strap.

Feel kinda naked without a watch on.

None – don’t often wear a watch as I’ve always got my phone with me and it shows the time.

See, this is what I don’t understand. Unless you’re one of those terminally tragic saddo’s who go everywhere with their bloody mobile clenched in their sweaty fist, to prove to everyone just how cool they are, it takes far, far longer to take a phone out of your pocket, wake it up, and look at the screen, whereas if I want the time, especially if I’m riding the bike, it takes one second to glance at the watch, two if I have to move my sleeve. What’s so difficult about that?

It’s Titanium, it’s solar powered, it looks a bit like an altimeter and its price in Goldsmiths happened to match the amount of Tesco clubcard vouchers I had to spend 😆

Given you can get a cheap, functional digital watch for a fiver, anything else is just jewellery for the metrosexuals.

Exactly, and don’t you just love it? Will a 5 quid digital keep as good time as a more expensive radio controlled watch?

U-boat left hook when I’m not at work – it’s unusual and I like it. Seiko kinetic arctura and a decathlon heart rate monitor one plus some others.

I tell the time by the topics on here.
This one comes around every 4.45 months. By triangulating with the last appearance ‘where does your username come from’ and ‘should we split the UK’, combined with when someone last posted a video of Danny Madskills and how long RudeElfinFredBra’s latest incarnation has been on here I can be accurate to within 2 or 3 minutes.

I elected a nice Seiko over a G-shock as I’m no longer 12 years old.

I elected a nice G-shock over a Seiko as I wanted to a watch to keep time.
