  • What low volume 700c tyre for grass and gravel

My 12 year old daughter has just started local triathlons. The cycling legs are all on gravel or grass and she has a heavy sit up and beg hybrid bike and a second hand racer. Clearly the racer is much lighter, easier to pedal and to handle but it has 23c road tyres on it.
I have tried to fit 35c tyres which just wont fit! I dont really want to buy a CX bike but wondered if there are any low volume tyres <25c with grip enough for (wet) grass?
    Thanks

i think scwalbe cx pro in 30c (measures smaller) is one of the smallest CX tyres.

other than that a touring type in a 28c although they’ll be heavy as hell.

or halo twin rail (maybe not grippy enough?)

she must be light, get the pressure as low as possible. it’s impressive how much a ‘slick’ will grip at low pressure.
