    Morning chaps, I want to get a Sram Type 2 rear mech ordered but am finding different answers as to what cage length to run with my 1×10 set up – some say short, others say medium.

    I run a 34tooth ring with an 11-36 cassette.

    The short one will be fine. I use the short one with 32/11-36, no issues at all.

    Cheers for that. Short cage one ordered.

    A new narrow wide ring will be sorted at the end of the month too.
