Warm Dorset Apple Cake – with clotted cream Yummmm

Once had a version in a pub in Dorset – made with very, very large blackcurrants instead of apple.

Cake? Mmmmm. Marmalade cake.

or fruit slice
…..or maybe battenburg
but not forgetting victoria sponge
and of course Banana Bread.. but is that bread or cake???

Bimbler I have homemade Sachertorte here. Must go and have some with coffee. Then I’ll have to go cycling, for work purposes too.

Sandwich, that is the biggest lump of “recreational resin” I have ever seen….

If there’s a tray with carrot cake and chocolate cake it will take me about 10 minutes to decide. 8 out of 10 times I’ll go with the carrot.

My wife does a white choc cheescake into which go frozen rasberries. Its somewhat calorie laden though, with two large bars of white choc & seemingly tubs & tubs of full-fat Philadelphia & double cream.
