Trivial titbit: John Shuttleworth was my cousin's long term partner, they had kids (well they still do.) etc. I always saw a big remeblance between the John Shuttleworth character and my Uncle (i.e my Cousin's Dad).

Never got round to meeting him. My parents have though.

ps: I've got an Austin Ambassador. Y Reg.

+ 1 Can't Go Back to Savory Now. Introduced Mrs Thew to this song on a picnic break during a long car journey when Thew Jr didn't finish her sandwiches and I was already on cake.

This thread has reminded me of another great singer songwriter – Jake Thackeray. "I love a good bum on a woman" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSwaWcwUN0w

For me it has to be 'eggs and gammon', or 'save the whale'. Pure genius. 😆
