my Montane Velo jacket arrived today. very impressed. it would seem well made and stuffs down INcredibly small, but, what is the velcro tag for on the stuff bag?

So you can attach it to the outside of your pack for quick access if it starts chucking it down? Also handy for fixing onto the bike (under the stem is a handy place) to free up pocket space on a long road ride.

You see quite a few people attaching them to the saddle rails on the road.

already got a saddle bag. it arrived today too. got myself a new pack so plenty of space inside there too now….

Funny that … I just bought one in town today and wondered the same thing.

I use it to strap mine under the top tube, wedged at the headtube junction, holds it nicely there and stays fairly clean/dry.
