You’ll pay more in shipping and import duty from the US…

Why have you joined a British Mountain/offroad bike site to ask about cordless drills? They aren’t that commonly used on our bikes (awaits shower of withering contempt from STWers who would use nothing else for maintenance on their steeds )

I put a fork in the end of my drill this morning as I needed an electric whisk.

I wonder if we are soon to learn of the great deal that the OP found on their new drill.
Also makita, just found a new battery for mine which has given it a new lease of life.

You could always and on the Pie & Bovril forum, the UK fireworks forum, the artisan shaving forum, the Yamaha R3 owners forum, the robot combat forum, the pinball forum and no doubt many others, all of which you signed up to around the same time as you did on here. I’m amazed you’ve got the time to be doing any DIY, frankly.

    Bombers, I’m thinking.

If you’re not going to use a cordless drill on a regular basis the battery will have a massively reduced lifespan

Yep, but luckily there are people who can offer you super-cheap ones on the internet so you can just throw the old one away

Recycle it in an environmentally friendly manner you meant, of course.
