I usually go for a Double Decker (ahem)
The Maverick was the best. Why did they stop making them?

Some might say they're dull, but i really like Twix bars.
Also these have to get a mention:

Like Penguins, but somehow ten times nicer.

When I was at school we used to spend our dinner money either on a big bag of chips or several Aztec bars. Sometimes I used to spend my bus fare on Aztecs and walk the 3 miles home. They were 9d. I think.
Fry's 5 Boys, Fry's 5 Centres, Those Milk Tray bars - all good. Spira make me feel sick.
These days I can still overdose on Creme Eggs, but for a sophisticated evening nothing beats sitting in front of the fire, sipping espresso and a malt whisky and eating a square of Cadbury's Dairy Milk and a square of Bournville at the same time.

+2 for Starbar... can you still get them ?
Yep, just eaten one!
One of my favourite's has to be Almond Snickers - dont thinik you can get them in the UK, i only ever saw/ate them in NZ.
Or Bournville. Brumidgum's original.

Cadburys Snack Biscuits, very addictive and just about to have a mini pack of them now
Fondly remember getting the reject ones (Cadbury Fingers too)on a stall down Walthamstow Market
Usually missing a bit of chocolate here and there or a corner broken offGreat big bag for a quid, didn't help my weight too much

Anyone remember Cadbury's mis-shapes?

Fry's chocolate cream!
Yup kind of agree with Double Decker, boost too sweet but definately NOT a kitkat they are THE dullest chocolate bar in the world!!!Posted 2 years ago # -
A biscuit boost is pretty hard to beat although the mention of drifters has made me want one of those!
Anybody remember Terrys Pyramint? There was some other bar we used to have as Kids - think it was called a Blitz, it was chocolate with crunchy orange or mint flavoured bits in.

Meh, boost (good as it is) is the bastard cousin of the Star Bar - there can be only one.
Or maybe two, if you include the Texan Bar.

Reeces Cups, from Hersheys, peanut butter with chocolate....ooooh! Why do Morrisons always put them in the checkout queue I'm in??
Posted 2 years ago # -
Just remembered another I used to buy not so long ago (late 90s ish) after collecting the kids from school. Smallish chocolate covered bar with a blue bubblegum flavour centre with a similar texture to raspberry ruffles - not seen them since - love to know who made them - google is fruitless

I'd like one more Nutty Bar (1970s Rowntree I think, fudge/toffee centre covered in peanuts) before I die.

2nd vote for nutty bars, anyone remember Gambit? a slim bar of both milk and dark chocolate blended together in a burgundy wrapper. sorta late 80s IIRC.
