From personal experience, wouldn’t recommend a cube, I had a £500 ish hybrid. was heavy, slow, tiring, wise than my old basic giant hardtail mtb!

Just bought my daughter this, kinda posh for a uni bike, but she loves it. She tells me it’s fast, light and comfy. Oh and a nice colour. £275
(it came with normal brakes not the slidepad ones)
