Here in Fenlandshire, for part of my commute my head is the highest part of the landscape. What helmet should I where to avoid lightening strikes? Will I die if struck by lightening?

No, steel, but carbon conducts anyway.

If the lightning doesn’t get you the pedants might.

Yes it does it very well. You could ride round with a nice long tank aerial on your bike like the mods use to on their scooters, would make a very good lightning conductor!!!!! Or borrow one from a church roof.

💡 Chain mail and wire tyres like on the lunar rover is the only way to be safe – your own personal faraday cage?

Let us know how you get on.

Just catch up with a taller cyclist and pass the burden over to him/her!?

Wear an all-in-one rubber suit to insulate yourself from the bike….?

    Recumbent bike?

I suspect you will die in agony, but at least you have a positive outlook on life to compensate 😆

wear a helmet that looks the roof of a car and tyres that will fit on a car, in fact go in your car.

It’s obvious that you need a recumbent bike
