    This amused me no end.

    Prisoners built two PCs from parts, hid them in ceiling, connected to the state’s network and did cybershenanigans

    They were smart, but they did get caught in a fairly dumb way.

    Just as well it was a wired network, so they could follow a cable. Imagine if it had been wifi.

    I bet this sort of stuff happens all the time to be honest. Especially these days when you have things like the Pi Zero W which is small enough to be intimately hidden, has wifi, and can run off a battery.
