I used to buy frozen mince at uni because it was a) cheap & b) convenient. Not sure it was any worse than unfrozen mince to be honest.
Oh, and I love a bit of tinned chicken in white sauce if I am in a hurry. Not too keen on the way it fwooomps out of the tin, but once warmed up, it's lovely.
