So if I sell something for £100 what amount can I expect to receive?

10%, quid sales fee, plus listing fee, plus paypal fee. about 15 quid.

do a google for ebay fee calculater – there’s a lot about – just make sure it’s been updated recently to reflect new fee structures.

When I’ve examined this before, eBay and paypal fees for the seller usually come to around 17% but it can be more or less than this depending on how your structure the auction.

Yes it’s more expensive than a freebie on STW, but you will most likely get more for it on eBay.
