This is my new build on its maiden voyage last night. I know the brake cables need shortening…..

is there any actual seatpost in the frame or is it balanced on top of the seat tube?

You dropped some litter behind your back wheel.

MussEd wins the guessing game. (sorry, there isn’t actually a prize though…)

Back garden? Ask Stoner to help mow it.

PS Bike looks good, apart from the spaghetti 😉

Mint! I used to have a Life (haha), best ‘bike’ I’d ever had for just riding arround trails on. Sold and bought a Swift though which is even better 😛

Thanks, I really enjoyed riding it last night – despite the weather.

You dropped some litter behind your back wheel.

Its wasn’t me (honest). I’ll make sure I pick it up next time.

    Looks solid, very seatposty!

Did you line up your rims for the photo? 😉

    How does it ride?

Looking at the stem angle and seatpost length I wonder if the frame is the right size for you.

They’re very long with short headtubes, although mine embraced it’s XC-ness with an inline seatpost and 110mm stem on top of that 😛

Isnt that saddle point a bit too far towards the ground ?

Spent ages positioning the rims correctly….

It rides great (despite the overlong seatpost). My previous bike was a Stumpjumper (circa 1999), which is now a singlespeed project.

The top tube is longer than usual on this frame, so it seems to work out the right size for me(whatever that is)with a 60mm stem.
