  • What do I need to take to polling station?
  • The reason I ask, is I’m 150 miles from home and thinking of doing a round trip to vote

Polling card, selection of indelible pens, tin foil hat and a sample of your DNA to mark the ballot paper with.

Fresh semen is probably best. I’d go for the furthest away booth.

EDIT: …and seeing as it’s you, a full face helmet.

Nothing. Just need to know your own name and address.

Unless you’re in Northern Ireland – then you need ID as well.

You just need your name, remember to take it with you.

Also, note that the vote is over two days. They’re taking “remain” voters today and “leave” voters tomorrow. Don’t go on the wrong day and make a fool of yourself.
