We have been advised to remove Sock Wrestling from the events list at the Big Bike Bash. Apparently putting two kids in a pit and telling them to fight until they pull each others socks off is not family friendly.

What nice, safe and entertaining events would you replace it with?

    Hide and seek.

All you need is a double divan bed with some large drawers underneath….

    Ah, FFS! Who said that?
Maybe we should have syncronised Nintendo DS Lite fiddling or some such thing that “safe” enough for our kids.

Is there anywhere flat enough to have kids’ scooter race? What about an obstacle course?

Are kids actually allowed to be competitive??!

DezB – There is nothing stopping parents organising such events, it is just we aren’t allowed to promote them.

The Childrens Challenges circuit will be for under 7s and also 7-12 year olds and will allow scooters and bikes. There is also the trailer bike challenge. Lots of scope for competitions and injury just not allowed competative prize fights between children apparently.
