    …to supplement the phone with strava on it in my back pocket.

    Not got the funds for a proper GPS unit and the cheapest bluetooth pairing unit seems to be about £65.

    Worth going wireless over wired?

    Not bothered about anything other than speed, av. speed and distance.

    Wireless is always better these days. No cables to break, see? I’ve never ever had a problem with the wireless connection on any I’ve used or fitted but seen loads of snapped wires.
    As for computers, I’d go for something from Bontrager or Specialized personally. They’re both a doddle to fit and set up and don’t need a computer degree to operate like some I’ve seen….
