Completely secure though, I’ve used mine without any additional straps or ties with no worries on some bikes. Others the angle of the tubes mean it’ll still roll off the suppourts if you shove it, so a bungee through the rim and wheel suppourt stops that.

@hexhamstu — will do when I get a chance – no obligation, it’s all sat around the garage (several garages) for quite a few years, so I’d need to check the bolts and threads actually work and aren’t seized..

it’s a simple plate with box section welded to it, the inner dimension matches the outer of the rack, rack drops into it, and 2 bolts nip up to secure it.
