  • What bike rack for transporting a carbon road bike?!! Saris or Thule?

    As in the title.
    I have thule roof bars with a roof box so a roof option may be possible. if not what boot mounted version is recommended? Car is an Audi A4 avant.
    Don’t want the paint scratching or denting, seem to remember Singletrack review said alot of them chiped the paint off at the strap mount due to the pressure. any advice?

    Personally I prefer the roof mounted option at least its bolted on.
