    Keep coming – can't make 11th Oct but the CMBM is the right type of event I'm looking for.

    Not an xc racer, more of a grinder so to speak, so the brown backs stuff isn't for me. I can't help pushing as hard as possible and end up feeling sick at those events, whereas the marathon events I don't feel sick, just tired. Quite like the 24 hr type stuff as a group too except for that feeling of getting out of your sleeping bag into wet clothes onto a clogged bike for 2 hrs at 2am in the rain 🙁
