    I think rock shox recommend red rum or something like that, but what do we use in the real world? Vaseline?

    If taking about the lubrication oil in the lowers then I think any 15wt oil will be fine.

    Don’t think its massively important, just needs to be reasonably thick so keeps everything coated nicely.

    If taking about the grease for the seals then my kit from TF tuned came with some RSP branded grease. You can buy it separately or in a kit to do a lower leg service.
