Riding up the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen, everyone was looking up to the sky as a large white aircraft ]flew over.

It was big white, appeared to be double decker, a very distinctive rear end with Hercules type back and tail fins similar ish to the pic below. I was a bit short of breat so can’t recall if it was prop or jet but think it was jet.

Usually when people think “a bit Hercules”, it’s a A400M. They do make a rather interesting/different noise as well.

However, if it was jet, rather than prop, perhaps a C17?

A400 is turboprop.

Perhaps a C-17 Globemaster?

The Airbus factory is in Broughton near the North Wales border so reckon that could be favourite.

Good spot, we used to see the Super Guppy go over occasionally, flying between Toulouse and Bristol, that was quite an aircraft.

There’s one up at Bruntingthorpe, bloody big aircraft when you stand right underneath it!
