Emsz and Karinofnine - do I detect a lack of surprise presents for girls ... surely this is a bad case of sexism?

With the government brought to it's knees by such widespread civil unrest and general chaos, including financial collapse, sadly certain elements use this as an opportunity to sieze power, and sweep aside the oppsition by using lies, treachery and spreading fear and hatred:

And I think we all know how this story ends...

Not sure I should resurrect this thread given its descent into Nazism but what the hell (inevitable given Godwin's Law)
Did anyone who has the calendar get what they should have on day 7?
The picture looks like some tools and Chewie's bowcaster but all we got is some fairly unexciting black and grey bits.

Ooh! Reminds me; forgot to open today's window!
(Scuttles off in excitement)

I have got lots of extra bits in mine, day 7 was what looked like a dustbin with tools and a crossbow.
Just waiting for the GF to get home and open days 8 and 9 for her lego city calendar so I can open my star wars onePosted 5 months ago # -
Teeny tiny X-Wing fighter FTW!

It's a bit small for the X-Wing pilot what was in yesterday's window though. No wonder he looks a bit miffed.

december 9th - it's an ickle lego X-wing!
dammit, elf beat me by a minute. but at least it's not my fault for ruining Grahamt's surprise.

@dogbert - The advent calendars are usually £20. As soon as people start panicking about getting them the price rockets on Amazon and Ebay.
Posted 5 months ago # -
But you do get a Father Xmas Yoda.
That's £40 of anyone's money.
Posted 5 months ago # -
Neil Kinnock! The Santa Yoda figure is going for £20+ on it's own!!
Is it wrong to run about the house with the tiny X-Wing Fighter, making spaceship noises?
LOCK X-FOILS IN ATTACK POSITION!
I'm thirty nine.
(Eagerly awaits teeny tiny Tie Fighter)

So grahamt1980 got what he should have on Day 7?
Not happy that I did not. Maybe it will turn up in one of the other windows.
Posted 5 months ago # -
Yep, it was correct, sorry.
On a different note, went in the lego shop in MK on monday - damn I could have spent a lot of money in there. Really need to go and get my lego out of my mums loft

After the excitement of the X-Wing Fighter, yesterday's offering was this teeny tiny baby tyridium Imperial Shuttle. One of me fave spaceships from StarWars actually.
Look how sweet it is! Like a little baby chick.

That's it! I'm off to Argos to see if they have one! (also being sent to the LBS by the wife to find something for Xmas)

Cracking, we get our two a lego advent calendar every year. My dad has become a bit of an obsessive since retirement, claims it's just to play with my lad! Yeah right
Have a load to build over Christmas!!
