New build house we’ve recently sold had a damaged foul drainage pipe under the kitchen floor. It’s gonna get messy 👿

    How long’s an NHBC warranty?

I suspect (pardon the pun) foul play. Plastic drainage as a rule doesn’t “get damaged” . I had a few issues with one gang of Brickies so maybe that’s the cause. Anyhow as we’re a reputable builder there’s no faffing with the Nhbc, I’m up there Thursday to remedy it. Thankfully stoner its block beam floor with a miserly 75mm screed on it.

And hopefully no services in the screed!!!!!

Why would you put services in a screed? Now that’s just shoddy!

Aah I wouldn’t consider underfloor as a service. Services to me are gas electric and water incomers.
And yes as we built the houses I’m off up there tomorrow to sort. Kitchen out first job 😯
