OK, not an mtb question, but what tyres would you recommend for the C2C? Bike is a Saracen Hack, which has plenty of clearance and is currently fitted with 35c tyres.

    Thanks,

Schwalbe Durano’s roll well, grip well, and very puncture resistant. (that’s if you are going by road)

Otherwise been looking at the Kenda Happy Mediums for some of the adventure crosses planned for this year.

Still 35c, fairly light and fast, and tough. Done a couple of thousand miles on mine and plenty of life left. Excellent value to boot, like a schwalbe marathon supreme but cheaper.

    If you’re going by road I mean…

Veloflex Master 25mm. Fast, comfortable and look pimp as they have skinwalls.

Big Apples, surprisingly good in all but gloop and ice.
