    I’ve got an older Boardman (custom build onto a frame) and I’ve ridden my brother’s Courier Race a lot… Both really good, the Courier is a lump though, quite a bit heavier than the Boardman despite the 1×8. The Courier has better mudguard clearance, but my Boardman’ll still take 35cs with mudguards (it is squeaky though)

    For about 5 miles and her husband works in the same place so carries all the stuff she needs in the van.

    Pinnacle Lithium look quite nice. I think the 4 is about £500.
